Obituary for Robert A. "Robbie" Delloiacono
Robert A. Delloiacono, born 10/30/53, left this earth suddenly and too soon on July 5, 2016. He is survived by his partner, Steve of Middlesex County, his brother John Delloiacono and sister-in-law Valerie Eldridge Delloiacono of Parsippany, a nephew Daniel Delloiacono of Jersey City, a niece Christy Savadel of Maryland, great nephew Patrick Savadel and great niece Cassidy Savadel, as well as many loving cousins, aunt and uncle.
He is predeceased by his mother, Ruth Litvin Delloiacono and his father, John Delloiacono.
Robert “Robbie” was known for his keen wit and sense of humor, and will be missed by all who loved him.
In 2011, he retired from the Multimedia department of Kean University where he worked for many years as a Professional Service Specialist, a title that barely captured his vast responsibilities in his key role there.
Robert enjoyed traveling, caring for pets and animals, and spending time at the beach. He cared deeply for the rights and welfare of others, as well as the social issues of today.
Following a private cremation, Robert will be memorialized in a service open to all who wish to honor his life and pay their respects, on a date to be determined in the near future. Notification of same will be posted here.
