Lillian L. Moncada, 74, of Rahway, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 25, 2017.
A Memorial Mass will be offered in the Divine Mercy Church in Rahway on Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at 10am. Relatives and friends are invited to a Memorial Gathering on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 in the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 400 Faitoute Avenue, Roselle Park, NJ from 7 to 9pm.
Born in Bogota, Colombia, Mrs. Moncada came to the United States in the early 1960’s, settling in NYC, then living in Roselle for thirty years before moving to Rahway fifteen years ago and spending her last year in Avenel.
She was a member of St. Joseph the Carpenter Church in Roselle and the Divine Mercy Church in Rahway.
She is predeceased by her devoted husband, Carlos Moncado.
Surviving are her three loving sons, James Moncada and his wife Viviana, John Moncada and his wife Diahann and Michael Moncada and his wife Bernadette, four adored grandchildren, Ryan, Kayla, Juan and Nicole, two dear sisters Cecilia Perez and Berta Mojica, two dear brothers, Gabriel Ruiz and Louis Ruiz .
