Obituary for Norman J. King

Norman J. King, 79, of Elizabeth, NJ, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 10, 2017.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service at 10am on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 in the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 400 Faitoute Ave., Roselle Park. Entombment will follow to Hollywood Memorial Park in Union, NJ.
Visitation is 3 to 7pm on Tuesday.
Born in Irvington, NJ Norman lived in Elizabeth, NJ for 50 years.
He was a custodian for Morristown Board of Education for 6 years, retiring 15 years ago, prior to that he was a serviceman for oil burners for CPO in Rahway for 35 years.
Norman was a member of the B. P. O. E. in Linden/Rahway for 30 years, East Central District Special Children Committee Chairperson, and a United States Army Veteran stationed in Germany and Lebanon.
He is predeceased by two loving sons George Paxton and Kenneth King.
Surviving is his beloved wife of 32 years Deanna J. (nee: Mohr) King; eight loving children Catherine Colantonio, Mary Ellen Paxton and her husband Matthew Girgus, John Paxton and his wife Kathleen, Joseph Krajewski and his wife Theresa, Jeffrey King and his wife Jamie, Brian Blackburn and his wife Charlene, Allison King, and John Drescher; 13 cherished grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions to family needs.
