Obituary for Christopher "Chris" Peterson

Christopher Peterson (Chris), 40, of Clark, NJ entered into eternal rest at home on Tuesday, March 14, 2017.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Funeral Service in the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 400 Faitoute Ave., Roselle Park, on Monday, March 20, 2017 at 11am. Please be at the funeral home 10am. Interment will follow at Graceland Memorial Park in Kenilworth.
Visitation will be on Sunday 1 to 5pm.
Chris was an outstanding three sport student athlete, a devoted son, brother, cousin, nephew, employee and friend to all who knew him. He touched the lives of so many, and was loved by everyone he knew. He was a true gentleman in every sense of the word. He was sensitive, giving, caring, compassionate and loving his entire life, and devoted to his close circle of friends. Chris was a wonderful cook, his love for our animals was deep, and he was a devoted fan of the Bears and the Yankees. He overcame so many obstacles with grace and dignity despite challenges along the way. He will be remembered and missed in so many ways. Chris was the loving son of Kathleen Peterson and Carl and Donna Peterson, sister of Jennifer Peterson, all of Clark, and had many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Commission for the Blind, 153 Halsey Street #6, Newark, NJ 07102 or the Friends of Union Township Animal Shelter, 980 Jefferson Ave., Union, NJ 07083 would be appreciated.
