Obituary for Helen Kuriawa (Zakutansky)
Helen Kuriawa, 92, (nee: Zakutansky), of Kenilworth, NJ, passed away peacefully on May 2, 2018.
Visitation will be 5 to 9pm on Friday at the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 400 Faitoute Ave., Roselle Park.
All are to meet for a 11am Funeral Mass on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at St. Theresa R. C. Church in Kenilworth.
The Cemetery is private.
Born in Elizabeth, NJ, Helen settled to Kenilworth, NJ in 1953.
She was an electronic assembler for Jerome Industries, prior to that a lab technician at Standard Oil both of Elizabeth, NJ.
Helen was a member of the Senior Citizens Club of Kenilworth and the Bowling League in Union, NJ.
Surviving is her beloved husband of 66 Years Alex “Kelsey” Kuriawa, four loving sons Kevin and his wife Susan, Christopher and his wife Mayda, John and his wife KimMarie, and Michael Kuriawa. Also surviving are six adored grandchildren Phillip, Justin, Julia, Bryan, Lucas, and Alex.
