Condolence: A Roselle Park giant is gone from our midst! From what I recall my folks lived in a house on West Westfield Avenue owned by the late Mike Torio. I do believe Jeannie lived there as well. She reminded me in later years how proud that my father, Al, was to have had a son! I cannot think of someone more dedicated to the Democratic Party and to the Borough of Roselle Park than Jeannie Marro. 70 years in one spot is a mighty long time and Jeannie loved the town and the town loved her right back. She is an original icon that will be missed by all who crossed her path and I am one of them. Jeannie, Rest In Peace dear lady.
