Obituary for Ida L. Coogan (Padora)
Ida L. Coogan, (nee: Padora), 92, of Roselle Park, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 30, 2014 in Overlook Hospital in Summit.
Funeral is from the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 400 Faitoute Ave., Roselle Park on Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at 7:45am. A Funeral Mass will be offered in Church of the Assumption in Roselle Park at 9am. Interment is at St. Gertrude Cemetery in Colonia. Visitation is 5 to 8pm on Tuesday.
Born in Tamaqua, PA, Ida lived in Elizabeth before moving to Roselle Park in 1953.
She was a machine operator for All Disc Record in Roselle for 23 years before retiring many years ago. Ida was also a volunteer worker at Union Hospital for 23 years.
She is predeceased by her husband John J. Coogan.
Surviving are two daughters Kathleen Mellito and her husband Patsy, and Patricia McMinn, two grandchildren Rocco and his wife Alicia, and Carla and her fiancé Robert Wenk, and three great grandchildren Jessica, Michael and Jamie.
