Obituary for Joseph Rubino

Joseph Rubino, 84, of Clark, passed away peacefully on Friday, Sept. 12, 2014 in his home.
Funeral is from the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 400 Faitoute Ave., Roselle Park on Tuesday, September 16, 2014 at 8:45am. A Funeral Mass will be offered at Church of the Assumption in Roselle Park at 10am. Cemetery is private. Visitation is 4 to 8pm on Monday.
Born and raised in Roselle Park, Mr. Rubino moved to Clark twenty-three years ago.
He was the owner of Joe Rubino Builders in Roselle Park and in the building business for fifty years.
Mr. Rubino serviced his country proudly in the US Army during the Korean War.
He was a former Roselle Park Councilman for the 3rd Ward, a member of the Roselle Park Board of Education and Dad’s Club in Roselle Park and past President of the Roselle Park Youth Baseball League.
He is predeceased by his devoted wife of sixty-three years, Virginia (nee Cole) Rubino.
Surviving are his two loving sons, Dale Rubino and his wife Phyllis and Joseph R. Rubino and his wife Emma, two dear sisters Marie Placco and Ann Unchester, five cherished grandchildren, Jennifer and her husband Fiqiri, Dale and his wife Kim, Jeanna, Alexa and Joseph and three adored great grandchildren, Burke, Siena and Jack.
