Obituary for Stella W. Scurek (Yaras)
Stella W. Scurek (nee: Yaras), 95, of Venice, FL, formerly of Kenilworth, NJ passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 4, 2015.
Funeral is from the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 400 Faitoute Ave., Roselle Park, on Monday, November 9, 2015 at 9:45am. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Theresa R. C. Church in Kenilworth at 11am. Interment will follow to Fairview Cemetery in Westfield.
Visitation is 2 to 4pm on Sunday.
Born in Filbert, PA, Stella lived in Roselle Park for five years and Kenilworth for fifty years before moving to Venice, FL in 2007.
She was a Secretary at the Westfield Sheet Metal Co., Kenilworth for thirty years, retiring in 1982.
Stella was a member of the Kenilworth Senior Citizens, AARP-Kenilworth Chapter, and St. Theresa Church Rosary Society.
She was predeceased by her devoted husband Joseph Scurek, and her loving daughter Karen O’Brien.
Surviving are her loving son, Ronald Scurek and his wife Margaret, dear son-in-law Michael O’Brien, four adored grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren.
