Obituary for Carmine "Tom" P. Santora

Carmine “Tom” Santora, 93, of Roselle Park, passed away on Saturday, March 8, 2014, at Overlook Medical Center in Summit, surrounded by his loving family.
Funeral is from the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 400 Faitoute Ave., Roselle Park, on Thursday, March 13, 2014 at 8:30am. A Funeral Mass will be offered at Church of the Assumption in Roselle Park at 10am. Interment is at St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia. Visitation is 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm on Wednesday.
Born in Jersey City, Carmine lived in Roselle Park for 25 years.
He was a tractor trailer operator for Bond Bread/General Baking Co., in Newark for 35 years. After his retirement, Carmine was a school crossing guard for the Roselle Park Police Department.
Carmine was a member of the Assumption and Casano Center Senior Citizens and the Retired Men’s Club all of Roselle Park.
He is predeceased by his beloved wife Rita (Stanton) Santora and his sister Gertrude Capo.
Surviving are four loving sons and their spouses Anthony G. Santora and his wife Betty, Thomas G. Santora, D.M.D. and his wife Patricia, Joseph A. Santora, Esq. and his wife Donna and John Santora and his wife Fran, and a dear brother Gabriel Santora. Also surviving are twelve cherished grandchildren and fourteen adored great-grandchildren.
