Obituary for Lucy Marie Alfano (Ferranti)

Lucy Marie Alfano, 96, of Clark, passed away peacefully on Thursday, Aug. 7, 2014 at the Overlook Hospital, Summit, NJ.
Funeral is from the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 400 Faitoute Ave., Roselle Park, on Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2014 at 8:45am. A Funeral Mass will be offered in the Church of the Assumption in Roselle Park, NJ at 10am. Interment will follow at St. Gertrude Cemetery in Colonia, NJ.
Visitaion is 5 to 8pm on Tuesday.
Born in Bronx, NY , Lucy lived in Elizabeth for forty-five years before moving to Roselle Park and then to Clark twelve years ago.
Lucy worked as a clipper for the Manheim Mfg. Co.in Elizabeth for many years.
She was a volunteer at the St. Elizabeth’s Hospital (Trinitas Reg. Med. Catr.) in Elizabeth for many years.
Lucy attended the Muhlenberg Adult Day Care in Plainfield and the JFK Adult Day Care in Edison.
She is predeceased by her parents Louis and Sebastiana Ferranti, four brothers and one sister.
Surviving are two loving daughters, Angela Carl and Anne Marie Alfano, adored granddaughters, Jill and Debra Carl, a nice, Joanne Arena and her husband Pat, three nephews, Joseph and his wife Kelly, Thomas and his wife Maria and Donald Fowler, and three dear care givers, Halina Kankowska, Maria Dobbek and Carol Lombardi.
