Obituary for Marta Guerra
Marta Guerra, (nee: Arevalo), 84, of Kenilworth, NJ, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 12, 2016.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass on Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at St. Theresa R. C. Church, 541 Washington Ave., Kenilworth at 11am. Interment will follow to Rosedale Memorial Park in Linden.
Mastapeter Funeral Home in Roselle Park is handling the arrangements.
Born in Tuinucu Las Villas, Cuba, Marta came to the United States in 1970 settling to Jersey City then living in Elizabeth before moving to Kenilworth 10 years ago.
She was a seamstress for Elra Dress Company in Jersey City for 30 years, retiring in 1992.
Marta is predeceased by her husband Jose Guerra.
Surviving are two children Violeta Adames and Lazaro Guerra; three brothers Ermis, Franciscos, and Eduardo Arevalo; and four grandchildren Brian and Stephanie Adames and Joseph and Marta Guerra.
