Obituary for Nicolina Maimone (Nastasi)
Nicolina Maimone, (nee: Nastasi), 83, of Murrells Inlet, SC, formerly of New Jersey, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 14, 2014, with her loving family by her side.
A Blessing will be held on Saturday, April 19, 2014, at 9am in the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 400 Faitoute Ave., Roselle Park. Please be at the funeral home at 8am. Entombment will be at Rosedale Cemetery in Linden.
Visitation is Friday 4 to 8pm.
Born in Torregrotta, Italy, Nicolina came to the United States in the early 1950’s, settling to Elizabeth, NJ, before recently moving to Murrells Inlet, SC.
She is predeceased by her beloved husband Francesco Maimone.
Nicolina is survived by three loving children Frank Maimone, Chris Carrara, and Nicholas Maimone and his wife Lori, two brothers Joseph and John Nastasi, a sister Sara Ritterbusch, and four adored grandchildren Christina, Jaclyn, Alexandra, and Christopher.
Donations can be made to the American Cancer Society in Nicolina’s memory.
