Obituary for William K. "Bill" Miller
William K. “Bill” Miller, 81, of Lakewood, NJ, formerly of Roselle Park, NJ, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 3, 2016 at the Cranford Health and Extended Care in Cranford, NJ.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the visitation on Thursday, October 6, 2016 from 4 to 7pm in the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 400 Faitoute Ave., Roselle Park. A service will be held in the funeral home at 6pm.
Born in Newark, NJ, Bill lived in Roselle Park, NJ for over 40 years, prior to moving to Lakewood in 1997.
He worked in various supervisory capacities for over 35 years at Western Electric in Newark, NJ and AT&T in Union, NJ.
Bill was an avid baseball and Yankee fan, he coached Roselle Park Little League for many years.
He also served in the Army National Guard during the Korean War for many years.
Bill is predeceased by his beloved wife Elizabeth Ann Miller (nee: Clark).
Surviving are two loving children Glenn Miller and Maureen Malcolm; a dear sister Dolly; three dear brothers Bing, Bud, and Harry; proud grandfather to two granddaughters Kaleigh and Allison and a grandson Brendan. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the National MS Society (www.nationalmssociety.org).
