I get up with Frank & his brother Joe. In later years I worked with him on the NPD.
Frank was a genuine great guy. None could speak bad of him.

Worked quite a few years with Frank on the Newark Police Dept. We became good friends and had many pleasant experiences and many laughs. Besides being a good cop,his priority was always about his family, especially. His wife Viola whom he adored very much. My deepest condolences to all the Leonardis family..

That's my Sgt Frank!!! Really loved that man...and that smile. He was a huge part of my life growing up...very special person to me. I am proud to have been in his dash. He loved to tease me about how he looked like Elvis and really thought he did..lol. RIP Sgt Frank...much love to Aunt Vi and family. XO
