I loved Uncle George. Aunt Catherine and Uncle George were my second set of parents. I always stayed with them when we visited. This man was the most patient saint I've ever come across. I have so many memories and stories. I was lucky enough to witness the fun "banter" between George and Catherine. I remember in the car one time he said "Sofia Lawrence" instead of Sofia Loren. Aunt Catherine pounced, calling him out. "Who is Sofia "Lawrence"....ha ha ...Lawrence......" Finally George said....."She didn't mind when I called her Lawrence last night" I laughed all the way home. I loved Uncle George.

Mr. Rusin, as I would call him and he would say call me George... sure I'll do that Mr. Rusin.
A super sweet and kind man! Always smiling and willing to help.
There is so much more to him, but words escape me now. I just know we are already missing him.
Rest in Peace George. Godspeed.
