Obituary for Virginia M. Kincaid (Purcell)

Virginia M. Kincaid, 89, of Kenilworth, N.J. passed away peacefully at her home on March 31, 2014 with her loving husband and children by her side. Virginia will be remembered for her loving heart and generous nature. Her beautiful spirit touched the lives of all who met her.
Born in Quincy, Massachusetts, Virginia settled in Irvington with her husband, Vincent, before moving to Kenilworth in 1953. She was a bill accountant for New Jersey Bell for twenty years, retiring in 1994 to enjoy time with family, bingo at St. Theresa’s church in Kenilworth and the occasional blackjack game in Atlantic City.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 67 years, Vincent E. Kincaid, their children Marty, Susan, Thomas and his wife Donna, Jeanne and her partner Mary, Karen and husband Frank and Michael and his wife Diane. Virginia also leaves five adored grandchildren; Nicole, Charissa, Jarret, Lacey and Eric.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass on Saturday, April 5, 2014 at 11 a.m. at St. Theresa R.C. Church, 541 Washington Ave., Kenilworth. A viewing at St. Theresa R. C. Church will precede the mass from 10 to 11 am. A private internment for family will follow the mass. Arrangements are by the Mastapeter Funeral Home in Roselle Park.
In lieu of flowers, and in the giving spirit Virginia personified throughout her life, the family asks that a donation be given to a person you know who may be in need.
