I lost the most generous person I ever knew. She was love. All who came in contact with her would see it. She only found the good in people. I had such a great childhood and was blessed to have her in my life. She shared in my fears, pain, joys & sorrows. I was lucky enough to be born the day before her birthday and was always told "I was her favorite birthday present" which touched my heart every time she said it. She will always be with me. I will miss her so much.

I will miss you Virginia for your pure loving spirit. You were very understanding of me with my problems which provided comfort and support. That meant a lot to me. On occasion, I helped Marty out with your care, which I considered a privilege to give back to a sweet, sweet lady. I will always remember you with your beautiful loving smile, comforting words, generosity, and thoughtfulness. You will be in my thoughts always. May God bless you in heaven.

Dear Karen, I write with a heavy heart as I know what you and your family is going thru right now. I wonder if I ever had met your mom, would you have been like her? Reading thru the stories,I can bet you were a fine product of her. Remember your mom and the wonderful things she had always done for you, how you felt around her, the funny things she said . Be your positive self, always looking at the glass half full. You are such are such a lovely and positive person to be around, I know that came Karen" aura"from your mom. Have peace in your heart for your mom. XX Brenda

Virginia, I love you very much. You have been a wonderful second mother to me. I have enjoyed caring for you for the past several years. You made my world brighter with your radiant smile and disposition. Every morning I greeted you and asked you how you were. You always responded with a cherry reply of I am fine. You answered that way right up till the day you no longer had the energy to even speak.

Mommy, you gave us more than the gift of life. You're a true example of what faith, hope and love are all about. Our values are but a reflection of your priceless acts of kindness and your soft beautiful words of love. "I FELT SO BAD I HAD NO SHOES TILL I SAW THE MAN WHO HAD NO FEET." Those touching words, the softness in your voice, sorrow in your face and the love pouring out from within was your way of opening our little eyes and hearts to the needs of others. Your work here on earth is finished but your life in heaven has just begun. MOMMY, YOU ARE MY LITTLE ANGEL. Love, Susan

Rest in peace my sweet Nana. She was such a blessing to everyone who was lucky enough to know her. I will always carry her life lessons with me. True beauty shines from within and when people try to break you down, just smile and walk away.

The world appears a lot darker, now that my angel of light has gone home to her reward. I thank God that he and I worked together to extend my Mom's time here in the physical world. I am grateful that God led me to solutions which ultimately provided my Mom a most peaceful passing. If I would have been offered the opportunity to care for my Mom to my dying day I would have gladly taken it. Though my Mom was 89 years old I still longed for more time with her. There would have never been a good time for me to say goodbye. My Mom was a true warrior that fought the good fight. Her diagnosis of Esophageal Cancer did not claim her life. Unfortunately, Mom also suffered from another fatal disease, dementia. In the end, Mom was just too exhausted to defeat this enemy. Mom may you enjoy the reward God has promised. You, are surely in heaven or the rest of us have no hope of getting in.
